What is your coverage area?

Ocean Walk Pet Sitters LLC provides pet sitting and dog walking in Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Manasquan,Brielle, Bay Head, Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, Brick and Toms River. For your ease, those zip codes serviced are 08750, 07762, 08736, 08730 & 08742. We do not service outside of these areas at this time. Please check this page for updates on coverage areas!

What kind of animals do you care for?

We primarily care for dogs and cats of all ages, but also love fish and other small house pets!

How do I set up service?

Please call the office at (732) 933-0270 or email us at [email protected]. We will schedule a consultation to meet you and your pet! If you are a new client, please allow at least one week  to set up a consultation before your scheduled trip. If you are an existing client, you may call or email the office with new reservations or changes to existing reservations.

What about keys?

During your initial consultation, we ask that you supply two copies of your key to your professional pet sitter. One key will be kept in a lock box at your home for easy and secure access to your pets and the other will be stored in the office safe for emergency purposes.  Your own personal lock box will be provided to you by your sitter during the consultation. There is a $20 charge for the lock box and it is yours to keep. The lock box creates great peace of mind that in the event of an emergency, a sitter can access your pet with no problem.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes! We are fully insured and bonded. We are also members of Pet Sitters International (PSI) and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS)

Will you administer medication to my pets while I am away?

Yes, as long as your pets do not pose a threat to our sitters and dog walkers, we are happy to administer medication.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24-hour notice for all non-holiday cancellations without charge. Holiday cancellations require 5 days (120 hours) notice without charge.

When can I set up a new reservation?

Please allow 24 hours for all new pet sitting and dog walking reservations. A surcharge will be applied to visits with less than 24 hours notice. We are happy to accommodate last minute reservations whenever possible.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes! We will not disclose any personal information we receive from you, including personal address, home/cell numbers, or email address.

Are you available on holidays for pet sitting and dog walking?

Yes! We are available 365 days a year! Please note that a $10 holiday surcharge will be added to your visits on the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Get those holiday reservations in early because our amazing sitters can book up fast!

What are your time frames for pet sitting and dog walking?

Our time frames for dog walking and pet sitting are:

  • Early Morning: 7:00 am – 9:00 am
  • Late Morning: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
  • Mid-day: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Late Afternoon: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
  • Evening: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Night: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
  • Overnight pet sitting: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

How is payment handled?

Payment for business or vacation travel should be remitted to the office before departure date. Daily dog walking is billed on a bi-monthly basis. All checks can be mailed to:
